About Principal Designer: Katie Schaefer
"Design is powerful. A room can transcend your emotions instantly and that's why I love what I do." For the past 5 years, Katie has been developing spaces that speak to individuals' wants and needs. She values the opportunity to help her clients transform their spaces into something they love and value.
Katie's career did not begin in Interior Design. She first attended Wittenberg University where she played collegiate field hockey, was a member of greek life and completed her first degree with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and East Asian Studies. After a quick stint in advertising, she quickly realized her true passion for Interior Design. Inspired by interiors and architecture during college study abroad opportunities in Europe and Asia, Katie always knew she may be returning to school for an additional degree. She holds an Associates of Applied Science in Interior Design from Arapahoe Community college. Her attention to detail, as well as her ability to interpret and then enhance design ideas from clients, make Katie an asset on any project.
